What is sent
Only if you turn Dearly (AI replies) on: the text, mood score and tags of the single entry you ask a reply for, and, if you allow it, short "What lifts you" numbers computed on your device. If you keep chatting, those chat messages are sent too. We never receive your name, email or contacts.
How it is processed
The content is passed to Anthropic's Claude model to write the reply and discarded once the reply is returned. Our server (Cloudflare Workers) does not store or log entry or chat text. Anthropic does not train models on API requests and keeps them only for a limited time for safety purposes.
What we keep
- A daily usage counter per random install ID (deleted after 48 hours)
- A cached Pro check result (1 hour)
- Reports you send about an AI reply: reason, your note, the reported AI text and app version (deleted after 180 days)
Turning it off
Turn Dearly off any time in Settings. Replies are saved only on your device and are deleted together with your entries.
Not a medical service
Dearly does not diagnose or treat anything. If you might be in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
